Job requirement:

QUALIFICATIONS for L3 and L4 SA positions:

Candidates with minimum 6years of experience need to apply.

Engineers from prestigious Institutes, working in top-notch Companies. Experience in UNIX administration in USA a plus. The candidate should be amongst the BEST in the domain of system administration, and should have worked in Tier-3 capacity in fixing problems.

Candidate must be hands-on in technology as the nature of the job involves production support of various of our US and UK clients.

. Solaris 2.6, 7, 8,9 and 10 on Sparc

. Solaris Kernel Tuning for Oracle database and application databases

. Sun Hardware - Ultra 5 to E6500 (E15k, 280, v880 SunFire series a plus)

· Disk partitioning schemes

. Solaris OS insall, upgrade and Jumpstart servers

. Familiar with native performance tools like iostat, mpstat, sar etc

· Knowledge of RAID (0,1,1+0,4,5), root mirroring

· Sun Disk Suite (SDS)

. Veritas Filesystem (VxFS) and Volume Manager (VxVM).

. Veritas Cluster (VCS)

. DNS administration

· Perl/shell scripting(Plus)

· NFS

· NIS / LDAP (Plus)

· OpenSource software compilation and installation

· Familiar with open source packages like SUDO, OpenSSH, ORCA etc.

. A1000/D1000(Raid manager software), A5000, T3 arrays

. Netapp filers

. EMC SAN storage array administration, lpfc drivers configuration, Navispehere etc.

. Ecommerce application like apache, BEA weblogic, JBoss etc.

. Oracle database debugging/performance tuning from system administration aspect.

Pluses:

. Veritas Netbackup

. Redhat Linux 6.x, 7.x-9.x system administration

. Linux Kernel configuration & rebuilding

. Experience with Linux drivers, compiling and installing

. RPM package buling, install and update.

. Load balancers and minimum network administration.
